My experience

I am a fully qualified professional counsellor with working with a diverse range of people and their issues. I draw upon my training in Person Centred, Transactional Analysis, Gestalt and CBT theoretical models to tailor my service to best suit your needs. I am a registered member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), and adhere to their ethical framework.


I have experience working with a wide variety of common mental health conditions, such as depression and anxiety disorders. I help clients who have issues such as relationship problems, dealing with trauma /bereavement or general unease with life.


I specialise in and have several years expertise working with compulsive based behaviours such as; Gambling addiction, Emotional over-eating, Obsessive Negative Thoughts, Porn addiction.


My current project is working with those who suffer from Binge Eating Disorder, Bulimia or Emotional Eating problems. Such conditions often lead to other problems such as relationship issues, unhappiness and low self-esteem.

Teaching and Training

I enjoy passing on my knowledge and expertise to trainee counsellors, through teaching accredited counselling courses at a local college. Training is a keen interest of mine, I design and deliver bespoke training courses and facilitate workshops for various organisations.   • St Mungo’s (Housing Association) – facilitate reflective practice session for staff working in mental health housing project.

  • BCHA (Housing Association) - I was part of the team that created and delivered the successful Ignite personal development programme for the local community; later employed as their staff trainer, designing and delivering bespoke courses to front line staff.

  • Samaritans – Over a year working on their telephone support line.

  • Dorset Mind – 6 Years volunteering for their befriending service. Offering support to those isolated by severe mental health issues
